I have a little jumping experience not much enough to safely get us both over a jump but i may have a friend teach me to jump properly (how to set them up change the strides etc) so that he learns properly and is less likely to get injured. I am not a big fan of jumping but i think it would be a great reward for him to have one night of something he loves to do to take his mind off of our other training.Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00038462663750441403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2368092227546916905.post-13766842507908234212012-05-04T12:03:18.663-06:002012-05-04T12:03:18.663-06:00It looks like jumping doesn't scare him a bit....It looks like jumping doesn't scare him a bit. He seems to like it. I like to do lots of different things with my horses so they are well rounded and can handle whatever comes up. Taking him to a show is a good idea too, we used to do that all the time with our young horses. Just to get them used to the atmosphere. I don't know whether you're comfortable jumping or not but if you're a novice you might want to start small and build on experience for both of you. Have fun.Grey Horse Mattershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05837575441967937196noreply@blogger.com
